(FEB 16) On Saturday night the
boxing gala held in Lurdy Shopping House, Budapest, Hungary two
female bouts being staged. The former amateur World- and
European championship medalist Csilla Némedi-Varga 112 1/4, (2-0-0
1KO) is now the second professional super-flyweight bout won the
unanimous decision against the former multiple world
championship challenger Gabriella Insperger 110, (4-13-0 3KO). Insperger knocked down twice in the bout and judges scoring
40-34, 40-33, 40-33.
The main event of the evening, Gina Chamie 132 3/4. (8-0-0 4KO)
stopped her opponent Alexandra Görög 129 3/4 (5-13-0 1KO) in the
fourth round for the WBC World Youth Lightweight Championship.
With this victory, Gina Chamie remains unbeaten and retains her
WBC Youth Lightweight World Title.
