(FEB 11) Earlier today WBAN received news that a video that Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano and Cindy "Checkmate" Serrano were featured in a music video. Go here to view video

Team Serrano told WBAN, "As everyone affiliated with women's boxing knows that because the lack of acceptance in our sport many get discouraged and then retire or quit."

Our Team has worked and sacrificed too much to just go away---so in essence we decided to help our sport get some recognition by doing and opening doors outside of the game."

"Our blessings have been rolling in because of the fact that we are two sisters. It's not that common like in the men. We Hired a crew of experts that have done a fantastic job. Getting us on 9 magazines (4 covers) TV and 4 videos, with this particular one was basically thought of with us in mind and our Reality show we are filming."

"What is interesting it's the taboo part of it. Everyone compares us because we fight in the same weight class and are ranked in a few of the major organization in the same division. So the producers wanted to run with that idea! This video is about Female Boxing---we love the idea that a few hundred thousand non-boxing people will watch it. That most definitely sparks at least a curiosity. Loving Our Sport Always!"
