(July 1) On Friday night, June
11, lightweight amateur standout Jen Hamann will make her
professional debut against Ariel Beck (3-0), in a scheduled four
round bout at the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, WA on a card
promoted by Gary Shaw Promotions.
Hamann from Seattle, Washington, compiled an amateur record of
31-4, which included the 125 pound National Amateur Championship
in 2013, and the 2013 125 pound Intercontinental championship.
“It's exciting to take the step into the ring as a
professional,” she said. “July 11 will be one of the most
amazing experiences of my life.”
Jen Hamann is trained by former welterweight title challenger,
Tricia Arcaro Turton, at Arcaro Boxing in Seattle. Arcaro-Turton
acknowledged her fighter is poised and ready to bring a great
show..“ Jen is a crowd pleasing fighter, and is prepared for the
challenge of entering the professional ring!”
