In 2014: Move up the minute per round for females: This fight is one of many examples why women boxers could benefit by three-minute rounds

(DEC 24) WBAN has just published the six-round non-title bout between Crystal Morales vs. Celine Roman. The fight just took place on Saturday in Los Angeles, California.  VIDEO OF COMPLETE FIGHT

The results of this fight are not only controversial  where some folks saw the fight in favor of Morales vs, some saw it in Roman's favor---but what needs to be said is this:

IT IS TIME FOR FEMALES TO FIGHT THREE MINUTE ROUNDS.

Let the sport continue to go upward in "equality" for professional female boxers.

Although NOT only the pros---but the female amateurs boxers who are getting a tad bit of discrimination with the Olympics -  36 female boxers, vs. 250 male boxers in the next 2016 Olympics. [That is another story in itself].

But the female pros need to be treated with equality.  This fight that just took place is an example of many fights we are seeing that "if only' the competitors had had the regular three-minute rounds---we may not have had the controversy that surrounds this fight in particular.

BY THE WAY....This IS NOT to take away from the close-decision'd winner of this bout.

It is the mere fact that we see way too many controversial decisions with two minute round fights.

The female athletics are ready to fight the same equivalent rounds as in men's boxing----and it may give the judges a much better barometer in determining a winner. VIDEO OF COMPLETE FIGHT
