Boxing Action in Mexico that Continues to be one of the Hotbeds for Women's Boxing

(OCT 21)  On October 23,  at the Las Pulgas, Tijuana, Mexico, there is an all-female boxing card featuring five bouts! 

In the mainliner, Alicia "Slick" Ashley will be fighting Zenny Sotomayor;   in a 10-rounder for the WBC Super Bantamweight world title, in a ten rounder.  In a six-rounder, Kenia Enriquez, will be fighting Kareli Lopez in a flyweight contest;  in another six round bout, flyweight Guadalupe Bernal,  making her pro debut, will face Brenda Flores, scheduled for four rounds; Sandra Robles is on the card for a six-rounder against Selene Gonzalez; and lastly Tania Enriquez, pro debut will fighting Dulce Galaviz.

On October 26, 2013,  at the Deportivo Agustín Ramos Millan, in Toluca, México, Ibeth Zamora Silva, 18-5-0 (8KO), of  San Cristóbal Huichochitlán, México, will be fighting Ava "Lady of Boxing" Knight, 12-1-3 (5KO), for the WBC light Flyweight title. 

On Friday, November 1, 2013, November 1, 2013, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Albuquerque's Victoria Cisneros, will venture into Paty Ramirez's hometown and fight Ramirez for the Vacant WBC Silver Welterweight Title. The two will be fighting Ten rounds for the Silver.

Another fight that is listed on Boxrec, on November 1, at Progreso, Yucatán, Mexico, Ana "Hurricane" Julaton, will be fighting Perla Hernandez, in a ten round bout. No other details.

On November 2, 2013, at the Auditorio General Arteaga, Queretaro, Mexico, Yazmin Rivas will fight a 10-rounder against Jessica Gonzalez for an interim WBC contest; and Irma Garcia will face Magali Rodriguez, 10 rounds, for the WBA Bantamweight title.

Another female bout scheduled on November 2, 2013, at the Centro de Usos Multiples, Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Joselyn Arroyo Ruiz
Will fight an opponent to be named, no other details.
 
Lastly, in Mexico on November 9, 2013, Jessica Chavez, 19-3-2 (4KO), will fight Arely Mucino, 18-2-1 (10KO), will fight for the WBC Silver light flyweight title in Mexico City.
