Beautiful Brawlers III at the SportsHouse in Redwood City, CA - August 31st!
Official Press Release

August 21, 2013

San Francisco, CA - Beautiful Brawlers III will take place at the SportsHouse in Redwood City, CA.  The amateur event will feature top female boxers of all ages, including current and future Olympians.

Many of the elite female boxers in the Western United States will be competing in a twenty bout, amateur showcase competition, with many targeting a run for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

Current 132 pound Olympian Queen Underwood from Seattle, Washington will face Stalacia Leggett, the 2013 Adidas National Champion. Leggett is now preparing for Olympian Underwood at Multi Choice Gym in Hayward. Casey Morton who fights out of Undisputed Gym in San Carlos is ranked #4 in her weight class by USA Boxing and will rematch with Jamie Mitchell who defeated Morton at the Adidas Nationals. Marisol Lopez who trains out of Kings Gym in Avenal is the current Jr. Olympic Champion at 106lbs and a six- time National Champion. Odalys Camacho is this year's National Junior Olympic Champion and she will battle Jessica Galvez of Mitey Mites Gym located in Reno, Nevada. The twenty-bout all female boxing card is full of intriguing, competitive matches. Stay tuned for entire boxing card which will release soon.

Matchmaker Blanca Gutierrez of Pacifica, California assembled this show's boxing talent. Her Babyface Boxing Gym gave birth to the Beautiful Brawlers concept which now enjoys a reputation of producing quality women's boxing shows in America. Blanca's gym conducts open sparring sessions every Saturday morning, assisted by current WBC Heavyweight Champion Martha Salazar and former Pro Champion Eliza Olson. After two Beautiful Brawlers sold out shows in Pacifica, this year's event has moved to Redwood City to a bigger venue. Longtime Pro promoter and current ESPN Radio sportscaster Jerry Hoffman will serve as the show's Ring Announcer.

Beautiful Brawlers III will be held at SportsHouse in Redwood City. This indoor sports facility, with extensive kids programs, features two indoor soccer fields, a basketball court and other recreation options for youth and adults. An absolute perfect site for boxing, the view of the action will be spectacular for all attendees. This most unique sports complex is on 3 acres at the corner of 5th and Edison Way in Redwood City. Parking is plentiful, the Turfside Sportsgrill offers a great menu, beer, wine and other refreshments. There is also a children's play area in addition to the restaurant. Fans at this event will be permitted to watch boxers warming up in a glass enclosed area. We thank the SportsHouse in Redwood City for partnering with us to produce this one of a kind female boxing event.
