(JUNE 29) WBAN has received an
update on Frida Wallberg's condition after having surgery on
June 15th after her fight with Diana Prazak. Check out the
following:
Frida continues to progress albeit slowly, as indeed was always
anticipated. According to Swedish media reports earlier this
week,
the boxer told friends : "I'm not good yet by a long way and the
journey back will be long and tough, I'm fully aware”.
"The only thing that is important right now is to see my little
daughter Nellie who I have not met since the accident happened.”
She remains in hospital , but has since been transferred to the
equally renowned University Hospital of Linköping, closer to her
family home in Åtvidaberg.
Update Friday From Frida Wallberg’s Facebook pages: (translation
from Swedish)
“Hi! Now I have come to the University Hospital of Linköping,
where they can guarantee the same treatment as at the Karolinska.
A big thank you to the staff there!
Stockholm is a beautiful city but I must nevertheless say that
it feels good to come to Linköping which is so close to my
family home in Åtvidaberg. Now it's not far to my beloved Nellie
even if it takes a few days until we finally be seen!”
