WBAN Celebrates 15 Years on the Net!

(JUNE 15) I am happy to report that WBAN celebrates 15 years now on the net.  I find it absolutely surreal with the whole experience of what I thought I was initially going to do on women's boxing on the net, and what WBAN has become throughout the years.

I would like to say and will continue to say, that WBAN would not be where it is today without the help worldwide by writers, photographers, boxing fans, the boxing community, the boxers, trainers, managers, promoters, matchmakers and more...that without your help I could not have brought this organization to where it is today.

So with that said, I want to say "Thank You...Thank You....and more Thanks"...

As most of you know who have followed WBAN throughout the years, the original intent of WBAN was to talk about the past female boxers and set the record straight with the history, which was so inaccurate to the greatest degree.  Little did I even begin to imagine that the current female boxers, both amateur and professionals,  would begin to contact me about what they were going through in today's sport.

In conclusion I also would like to give a special "Thank you" to Dee Williams.  Dee continues to be a major source in covering the sport, with the independent WBAN World ratings, the top-of-the-line biographies of the women boxers, and all the other countless contributions Dee continues to provide.
