McCarter attended a radio interview on Tuesday, along with female boxers Simone Duarte, Silvia Zacarias, Unathi Myekeni, and Noni Tenge.  These boxers are set to fight on June 2, at the Orient Theater in East London, South Africa.

In this upcoming fight on June 2nd, the main event will feature Duarte and Myekeni.

For boxing fans who may not have gotten the latest news on McCarter, we ran a story on her in regards to some exciting news that she had  just recently been invited by the Government of South Africa to assist new boxers and help mentor teens to make right decision in life.  She will also help with a new program to fight domestic violence and education.

McCarter feels very honored to be able to travel to South Africa to assist and help all females and males boxers and any individual interested in becoming part of this beautiful sport.
