(MAR 12) WBAN was in contact with
Melissa "Mighty" McMorrow, the WBO and WIBF Flyweight world
champion, who has an exciting championship fight coming up soon
at the GETEC Arena, in Magdeburg, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, when
she defends her titles against Nadia Raoui in a 10-rounder.
McMorrow told WBAN, "I am really
excited about fighting Nadia Raoui. We have wanted this fight
for over a year now. It is also very exciting that we were able
to set it up this time---especially on such a big and notable
card."
"I have been training hard for this fight and have had great
sparring with well-experienced fighters in my area. My strength
has improved a lot and I have been working on two major punch
combinations; the first called the 'Tyson' and the second call
the 'Marquez'. Please----! Use your imagination on what these
might be and tune into the fight on March 23, 2013!"
McMorrow gave some details as far as a contract with SES.
McMorrow said, "We have been negotiating for a long time with
the contract terms for SES mostly because I wanted to write Ava
Knight's name into the contract to ensure, I can fight her this
year. I am really excited about the contract and the
opportunities it can bring!
Boxing fans will be in for a treat to see the McMorrow vs. Raoui
fight in action. The fight received a "Five-Star" status with
Boxrec, and it will surely be a non-stop action-packed bout!
