(OCT 6) Tonight at the
Finish Line Sports Grill, in Pomona, California, there will be
two female bouts on the card, in the first-ever promotion of
Sugar Shane Mosley.
In the main event, Kaliesha "Wild
Wild" West will face Christina Ruiz in a 10-rounder for the IFBA
super bantamweight title. Both West and Ruiz made weight
yesterday, with West weighing in at an even 122 lbs., and Ruiz
120.8. In a second female bout, in a four-rounder, Katarina de
la Cruz will be fighting Blanco Reymundo. Cruz, weighed
112, and Reymundo, 111.8. There will be three
other bouts on the card featuring men's boxing.
