(APR 14) Yesterday at the
17th Annual Women's Luncheon, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, in
New York, Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano was honored when she
was awarded the 2012 El Diario Latina Outstanding Woman in Sport
Award. Serrano told WBAN s she was very honored to be
picked, and and said that she felt that the win was a "great
gift" as to what she has been awarded for in the sport as
of late. Some of you may not know this but Serrano was
also named the female fighter of the year in Puerto Rico in
2011. She was also WBAN's top pick as one of the
three "Top best and busiest" boxers of the year in 2011.
WBAN gives a special Congratulations to this young boxer who has
thus far been a role model in the sport.
