(APR 05) Last night at the
Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan, there were two female non-title
bouts on the card. In one bout scheduled for eight rounds,
33-year old Naoko Yamaguchi, 115¾, of Tokyo, Japan, won by a
fourth round TKO over Kandy "La Rubia" Sandoval, 115¼ from
Mexico City, Mexico. The two were scheduled to fight at
116 lbs., catch weight. Sandoval was knocked down once in
round three.




In the second female bout, Noriko Tsunoda. 112½, 41 years old,
from Tokyo, won by a second round TKO over her opponent from
Thailand, Petchsairung Looksaikongdin, 111. The two were
scheduled to fight at 114 lbs., catch weight in a four round
bout.
