Good News for Australian Amateur who won Gold
February 10, 2012

(FEB 10) Last week Jessica "Da Bomb" Retallack, 20 years old, of Australia, won gold in the lightweight division when she competed at the Queensland Boxing Association State Titles. The "Noonsa News" wrote, "the fight was a must win for Jess to continue her goal for Olympic selection. The win has secured Jess a spot in the Queensland team to compete for the National Titles in Melbourne on March 4-6."

Jessica has been boxing for six years now, and has 50 plus amateur fights, fighting all around the world, and she trains out of Cooroy Impact Boxing Academy.

According to Noosa News, all Australian states have held their own state titles and will be sending their state title winners to Melbourne to compete at the three-day tournament to decide who is the Australian Champion. The winners of the Australian titles also win a spot on the Australian Olympic team.

WBAN needs a biography and photos that we can use on Jessica.  If you are her team, please contact WBAN at wban100@aol.com
