To Amateur and Pro Female Boxers in the Sport
by Sue TL Fox
February 9, 2012

(FEB 9) If ever you took an opportunity to promote your boxing career, whether you are a professional or amateur boxer----this point in time is when to do it.

2012 is going to be one of the most significant and important history-making years of the sport. With female boxing being accepted into the 2012 London Olympics, this is definitely the time that the sport has a chance of becoming main stream.

WBAN will be announcing a new addition to the site in relation to 2012 soon...and with that said, I would like to see and encourage any and all female boxers to send in stories, photos, updates, video links from YouTube, or other sources that we have permission to use on WBAN, and get that exposure that I am talking about on the net.

I know that many of you who have the talent and skill may think that those two attributes alone will carry you to the level you are seeking in the sport. I will tell you from experience that it not only takes "skill and talent", but a lot of leg work in getting yourself out there to be known so that you receive the opportunities that you so-well deserve.

Women boxers need to network with the boxing community by attending any and all boxing events in your area, that includes weigh-ins, press conferences, the fights, and to talk to the people who are involved in the sport.

WBAN is a perfect place for you to showcase your talent---so I am asking the amateurs and pros, and/or their teams to get us the exposure that you need to let the world know who you are.

If you have stories, updates, photos, videos, email them to wban100@aol.com. We will need permission to have the stories on WBAN.
