(JAN 9) WBAN has received some great news today. Diane "Dirty Di" Prazak, the WIBA Super Featherweight champion, from Australia, will be making her United States debut on a card in New York, on January 19, 2012. She just arrived in the USA, and she is set to fight Lucia Larcinese of Canada in a six-round non-title bout on that card.

Australian based manager Adam Wilcox told Aus-Boxing.com, “I’m very happy to get Diana on a show so early in the year, especially one in New York and televised. Her opponent will prove a really good test and an early indication on what the next year has ahead.”

In a press release they stated that the boxing show will be televised on the Fox Sports network in America but will not be shown in Australia. It is unknown at this time if the Prazak vs. Larcinese will be one of the bouts that will be televised. Prazak was one of our top picks in our WBAN Yearly Awards for 2011 as one of the most inspirational boxers of the year.
