Press Conference and More:  Holm vs. Mathis
by Sue TL Fox
November 29, 2011

(NOV 29) Tomorrow afternoon, at the Route 66 Casino/Hotel, the FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE will be held for the upcoming fight on Friday night between Holly Holm vs. Anne Sophie Mathis.

The press conference will begin at 2:00 p.m. (MT) at the Casino, in the Legends Theatre. The address of the Casino is 14500 Central Avenue, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The press conference is to promote Friday night's (Dec. 2) "World Dominance" professional boxing card, presented by Fresquez Productions.  Holm vs. Mathis headlines in the 10-round main event for the IBA and WBAN welterweight championships, as well as the mythical women's boxing pound-for-pound title.

I will be at the press conference, and would like to meet up with any of the female boxers who come to that event.

Also, the NEXT DAY, the weigh-in will take place in the same area at 2:00 p.m. (MT), and is open to the public.

At the WEIGH-IN, on Thursday, December 1st,  I will to present the proceeds made from the WBAN Fundraiser for the RETIRED BOXERS to ALEX RAMOS, President of the Retired Boxers Foundation, and JACQUIE RICHARDSON, the Executive Director of the Retired Boxers Foundation.

I want to personally thank everyone who purchased some of the unique WBAN Memorabilia that we had in the Fundraiser.  We are ending the Fundraiser on November 30th, the day of the press conference.

WBAN wanted to give back to the sport and have this fundraiser for the athletics who gave their devotion to fighting for the entertainment of people who follow boxing.
