Ramadan Loses by a Split decision
October 17, 2011

(OCT 17) On Saturday night in Quintana Roo, Mexico,  Australian boxer, Susie Ramadan, 116¼, undefeated going into the fight with a 21-0-0  (8KO) record, fought and lost to Yazmin Rivas,118,  (from Mexico), by a 10-round (controversial) split decision.  This was Ramadan's first venture in the sport of fighting out of Australia.

WBAN has already been contacted with some not-so-good feedback about the (controversial) split decision loss of Ramadan.

Regardless---Rivas won the vacant IBF Bantamweight World title, with judges scores in her favor of 97-93, 97-93.

One of the judges saw the fight for Ramadan, with a score of 94-96.

WBAN will try to locate the video of this fight and post it if it becomes available.
