(OCT 17) On Saturday night in
Quintana Roo, Mexico, Australian boxer, Susie Ramadan,
116¼, undefeated going into the fight with a 21-0-0 (8KO)
record, fought and lost to Yazmin Rivas,118, (from
Mexico), by a 10-round (controversial) split decision.
This was Ramadan's first venture in the sport of fighting out of
Australia.
WBAN has already been contacted with some not-so-good feedback
about the (controversial) split decision loss of Ramadan.
Regardless---Rivas won the vacant IBF Bantamweight World title,
with judges scores in her favor of 97-93, 97-93.
One of the judges saw the fight
for Ramadan, with a score of 94-96.
