(SEPT 1) This is one thing we do
not see very often and that is NINE female bouts on one card.
But on this night on August 28, 2011, there was an all-female
card at the Yomiuri Bunka Hall, in Osaka, Japan.
In the main event, Masae Akitaya
(red gloves-above photo) won over Krikanok Islandmuaythai (from
Thai) by TKO in the second round of a scheduled eight round
atomweight (102 lbs) bout. Akitaya moved her record to 8-2-1 (3
KO's). Krikanok fell to 6-2-1.
Miki Kikukawa (blue) won by a six
round unanimous decision over Kai Johnson. Kikukawa moved
her record to 12-10-1 (1 KO). Kai fell to 3-4-1.
Mari Inamoto (red)
won by a six round unanimous decision over Yokfah Sitkhrusin.
Inamoto 4-4-0, Yokfah 2-5-0, now.
Momoko Kanda (blue) won by a four
round unanimous decision over Nahoko Tanaka. Kanda 4-3-2,
Tanaka 3-5-1.
Saki Yamada (red) won by a four
round split decision over Kimika Miyoshi. Yamada 4-0-0,
Miyoshi 3-5-1.
Asako Tonarii (blue) won via 2nd
Round TKO over Saithonglek Sor Tammajak (from Thai). The
bout was scheduled for four rounds. Tonarii 2-0-0,
Saithonglek 2-3-1.
Maho Tamamori (red) won via 1st
Round TKO over Akina Takemoto. The bout was scheduled for
four rounds.
Tamamori 2-0-0, Takemoto 0-1-0.
Kiyoka Mori (blue) won via 4th
Round TKO over Wakana Yamamoto. The bout was scheduled for
four rounds.
Mori 1-1-0, Yamamoto 0-2-0.
Tamao Ozawa (red) won by a four
round majority decision over Maimuang Sitkhurusian (from Thai).
Ozawa 1-0-0, Maimuang 1-2-0.
