(APR 9) Last night at the Buffalo Bill's Star Arena, Primm, Nevada, female welterweight TaTina Anderson, 139,  (3-1-1, 3 KOs), of Las Vegas, and Lissette Medel, 138,  (2-1-1), of Maywood, California,  fought to a majority draw in a four-rounder that was the most exciting fight on the card. Judges scores were 39-37 Anderson, 38-38 even.

The photographers ringside including yours truly were amazed with TaTina Anderson's excellent performance.  Comments that were, "I have never seen a women boxer come out so fast and dig in body punches that way, many male fighters don't even do that."

TaTina known as "Lil Tyson" trained at the famous Tocco Gym in Las Vegas.  Former Champ Mike Tyson watched Anderson spar many times and was entertained by Anderson's similar hard-hitting style and poker face. This was TaTina's first fight after a one year layoff.

Trainer Rodney Crisler said there are many things they are working on and look forward to TaTina's next fight.

Lissette Medel from Maywood, California, who has been inactive for four years came to fight, many of her fans and family were cheering her on throughout the four rounds.

Medel and Anderson fought inside throwing many punches every round making their bout entertaining and exciting. Even officials commented that the fight was exciting. The fans were on their feet cheering for both combatants.

Many fans and media said they would love a rematch. Medel & Anderson showed good sportsmanship and hugged after the fight. This was an excellent display of what a Women's boxing match should be and in front of a Las Vegas crowd.  Bravo to TaTina Anderson and Lissette Medel for an excellent fight.
