(MAR 6) On March 11, 2011, at the Jose Cuervo Salon, Polanco, Distrito Federal, Mexico, WBC Interim flyweight champion Mariana Juarez, 27-5-3 (13KO), of Mexico, will be fighting WBC Flyweight champion Simona Galassi, 14-0-1 ( (3KO), of Italy, for the WBC Flyweight title.

On March 4th, they had their one-week "before the fight" weigh-in. They complied with the statutory seven-day pre-weigh-in at the facilities of promotional company “Boxeo de Gala."

Simoni Galassi weighed in at 52.200 kilograms, and Mariana Juarez weighed 52.600 kilograms.

This coming Thursday, they will have to be within the official weight of the Flyweight division, which is 50.902 kilograms.
