(SEPT 24) WBAN is very excited to announce that on October 16, 2010, at the Bosque Event Santa at the Santa Ana Star Casino in the Pueblo of Santa Ana, in  New, Mexico, and promoted by Golden Girl Promotions of Albuquerque, in the headliner, Melissa "Huracan" Hernandez, (13-2-2, 4 KOs), of Bronx New York, will be fighting Lindsay Garbatt, (5-3, 3 KOs),of Ontario, Canada, for not only the WBAN Independent World Title belt in the junior lightweight division, but will also be fighting for the GBU World title belt.

Lindsay Garbatt is currently our #1 WBAN rated boxer in the junior lightweight division, and Melissa Hernandez, is #2 with WBAN. It does not get any better than that for a world title fight! WBAN's independent board, had no problem with all giving a resounding "yes" when the fight was proposed to them.
