(JUNE 21) Humble, Texas On June 17th, at Cameron Park, Rock Solid Promotions, put on an exciting card that featured two female bouts. (1)Johanna "Bam Bam" Mendez took on Christina Ruiz for six rounds (super bantamweight). Two judges scored the bout 59-55 for Mendez, while the third called it a draw. (2) Ashley Alvarado vs Maria Ruiz (scheduled for 4 rounds @ super flyweight) Pro-debut for both fighters -- Alvarado won by TKO at :52 of the second round.
