(JUNE 19) Tonight at the "Battle at
the Beach" boxing card, that is going to take place at the Deauville
Beach Resort, in Miami, Florida, and promoted by Jeff Gibson,
Marianne Chubirka will make a return to boxing after a three-year
hiatus from the sport.
Chubirka will be fighting on the undercard against Denise Jacobs, a
fighter who comes from the ranks of Muay Thai and it has been
reported that she has fought Ria Ramnarine for a world title in
kickboxing. The two will be fighting four rounds with Jacob
making her pro debut in boxing.
At the weigh-in, Chubirka weighed in at 112.5, and Jacobs came in at
113.75.
