(DEC 9) Today at noon The Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, Ca held the press conference for the upcoming fight between Timothy Bradley and Lamont Peterson for the WBO Jr. Welterweight Championship. The fight, a Gary Shaw Production along with Thompson Boxing Promotions, is scheduled for Saturday night on Showtime.

This will be the second time that GSP and TBP have collaborated on a show at the Ague Caliente venue. Bradley said he was willing to die in the ring to retain his title, and apologized to his mother after, but he wanted to let everyone know the level of seriousness he would carry into the ring.

Kaliesha West, who Shaw believes has the kind of skills you should expect in a fighter, has included her for a second time on his card. Shaw said "We don't put on a sideshow here, this girl can fight." West will face Kasha Chamblin, who was not present at the press conference. West promised another action packed fight. "Ask anyone who has seen me fight, I put on a good show. Come out and see what I can do....I will show you that the women can fight just as good as the men can!"

The undercard will also include Vic Darchinyan vs Tomas Rojas for the WBC and WBA 115 pound Championship. Weigh-ins will be held at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa on Friday, December 11th and the fighters will step on the scale at 1pm.
