(AUG 24) On Saturday night at the
Chaifetz, in St. Louis, Missouri, four-time world champion Hollie "Hotstuff"
Dunaway, 105, fought and defeated Mayela "La Cobrita" Perez, 106, to
a six-round unanimous decision. The contract weight for the bout was
108 lbs.
Overcoming flight delays Mayela's team made their way to St. Louis
well prepared and ready to rumble on the "It's On" card. For six
rounds Dunaway and Perez expelled their energy in the ring from
their superb conditioning programs. Perez throwing quick
combinations, Dunaway blocking and countering with head and body
shots.
