(JULY 4) Tonight at the Color Line
Arena, in Hamburg, Germany, Susi Kentikian remained undefeated
with a 25-0-0 (16KO) record when she easily defeated challenger
Carolina Gutierrez Gaite of Argentina by a 10-round unanimous
decision. Kentikian was defending her WBA, WIBF titles. All three
judges scored 100-90.
In what was considered a controversial split decision,
Alesia Graf, of Germany defeated United States Terri Lynn Cruz. The
scores were 96-93, 94-95, and 95-94. Graf was knocked down at the
end of the 6th round by a perfect right cross by Cruz. She beat the
count, which ended two seconds before the bell. The two were
fighting for the super flyweight WIBF Title.
