(JUNE 24) It seems that there have been reports on Peruvian websites that the next opponent for the WBA super featherweight champion, Kina Malpartida will be the WBA #1 Ranked and the current WBC super featherweight world champion, Olivia Gerula.

To set the record straight, Team Gerula has never been contacted regarding this fight.

Furthermore, Olivia has agreed to unify the WBC title by fighting the WBC interim champion Myriam Chomaz in France. The proposed date will be sometime in November. If someone from the Malpartida camp would like to discuss a fight between the 2 champions they are more then welcome to contact me.
