(MAY 30) New Mexico’s top female fighter, Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm will get into the ring with Brazil’s Female World Champion Duda “The Cameleon” Yankovich on June 5th, 2009.

Holm’s victory over tough Myriam Lamare in January of this year has not deterred Holm from challenging another world champion. Holm, who has not lost a fight since 2004, is relentless in protecting her WIBA world championship title in the welterweight division. Holm’s opponent, Duda Yankovich (a native Serbian, but resident of Brazil) has an unblemished record of 11-0 (5 ko’s).

An explosive semi-main event includes Albuquerque’s own Mike Alderete 6-4-1 (3ko’s) against Port Charlotte, Florida’s Theo Kruger 9-8-1 (3 ko’s).These exciting cruiserweights are ready to battle it out come fight night.

The under-card will prove to be action packed. Hot prospect, Angelica Chavez is getting ready to display her talent against Ontario, California’s Gloria Salas. Local talent will be displayed as Albuquerque’s own Michael Brooks will be making his pro-debut against Marciano Wilson of Albuquerque. Antonio Zamora looks forward to turning pro against Manuelo Otero of Albuquerque, as well.
