(MAR 25) Well I would first of all
like to start off by saying that 'yes' sparks will fly on April 4th
when Mia St. John, and I step back into the ring together! It will
be the fight of the night in Mexico that night you can put your
money on that! [Open Letter
by Mia St. John]
I have a tremendous amount of
love and respect for Mia St. John in and out of the ring ---she
is a terrific person!
As far as her saying that I was announced as Chicago's Own that
may be true but I would like to remind her that I have had one
fight in Chicago and I live two hours from Chicago. I'm
not a Chicago fighter.
Mia may not be tied to any one promoter but she is the one that
entered the ring that night as the favorite and the fight was
for her, she was the main event, not me that night and she
is the one that had One In A Million on the back of her
outfit which was the promoter of that fight which was in Indiana
not Chicago. I drove over five hours to get to the fight
from where I live.
I would like to say that she thinks that she won the fight that
night, well may I remind her that when the fight was over the
ref raised my hand and they announced Brooke "No Mercy"
Dierdorff as the winner that night and rightfully so because I
won the fight. So the math is a little messed up there
because I was the winner and I won the fight fairly!
May I also remind Mia that I took that fight as a replacement
fighter coming up in weight on 4 days notice to 138 when I fight
from 122-126 lbs., and had to weight in with all my
clothes on just to come close to making the weight requirements
that night. Mia weighed in at the max weight so we all know in
the boxing game that she weighed more than that on fight night
when I still weighed my normal walk around weight of 126.
For the rematch for Mia's WBC
Title, I have had proper time to train and prepare
for this fight and I will be at weight and will be ready.
I was not training or ready for that fight the first time I beat
her. This time I am and I can tell Mia, that on April 4th
in Mexico, I will win the fight without a doubt and I will
be the new WBC Champion and bringing the belt back to the USA
with me!!
All questions will be answered and the answers will be left in
the ring that night with me as the new WBC International
Lightweight Champion of the World!
Lastly, I want to say also that I pray for both me and Mia
to be safe and have a good clean safe fight that night and we
will both go home safely to our families!
Brooke "No Mercy" Dierdorff
