(MAR 14) The coming Saturday's Sauerland Event in Kiel will attract a lot of attention from the Scandinavian countries of Norway and Denmark. Not necessarily for the main event, which is the Arthur Abraham vs Lajuan Simon for IBF Middleweight Crown, but more so, for the womens title fight for the vacant WBA/WBC belts, between Danish Vinni Skovgaard and Cecilia Brækhus from Norway.

A lot of Danish and Norwegian fans are expected in the German city on the Baltic. The fight will be televised live on both Norwegian TV2 Sport fra 7:30 pm CET and on Danish TV2 Sport from 9 pm. The fight will also be shown on ADR after the Abraham vs Simon fight (delayed). Transmission begin at 10:40 CET.

A press conference was held in Kiel Wednesday. Sauerland protégé Brækhus told the press: "I can hardly wait until Saturday. I know Vinni from my amateur days. I have already beaten her 3 times - Saturday I will win for the 4th time. Thanks also to my management, who has given me the opportunity to fight for a world title so quick."

Vinni Skovgaard said: "This is the fight of the year in Scandinavia. This fight is the number one talking point at home at the moment. A lot of fans will come to the fight from Denmark. I am ready and I look forward to box Cecilia Brækhus again."
