(FEB 25) World, European and European Union champion Katie Taylor will face American lightweight Queen Underwood at the National Stadium in Dublin on Friday night.  Both women meet as part of the Ireland versus USA men's senior international at the home of Irish boxing.

Taylor, of the Bray Boxing club, claimed her second World title on the trot in Ningbo City, China last year and was also crowned AIBA female boxer of 2008 in Moscow in December. Underwood won a Chicago Golden Gloves title in 2007 before going on to win a 2007 National title. She has also represented her country at World Championship level.

Meanwhile, Team USA are due to arrive in Dublin today (February 25th).  Both nations meet in a second international at the Arch Centre in Athy, Kildare on Sunday night.  Boxing begins at 7.30pm on both nights.
