(SEPT 19) On October 15-19, 2008,
there will be an AAPRP Annual Medical Conference, held at the
Bally's Resort Casino and Paris Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On Thursday, October 16th, from 2:30 - 3:00 p.m., Mia St. John will
be
speaking at the Conference on Ringside Safety at Bally's
Resort Casino.
St.
John's presentation is entitled, "Medical Safety in Female
Boxing".
She will
be covering some of the following topics:
Pre-fight urine pregnancy testing, the role of breast and
groin protectors, breast implants and risk of rupture, and
steroids.
