(SEPT 7) Last night at the Toyota
Center, in Houston, Texas, Crystal “Choo Choo” Delgado, 126,
(7-0, 1 KO) of Houston, won a four-round majority decision over
Caitlin Dance, 123˝, (2-3, 1 KOs) of Louisville, Kentucky.
The final judges scores were 38-38, 39-37, & 39-37.
According to a ringside observer, Dance
utilized her superior height and reach to hold Delgado at bay with
her jab to begin the bout, but that Delgado’s pressure eventually
turned the fight to her favor.
