(AUG 24) Last night in Karlsruhe, Lucia Morelli improved her record to 11-0-0 (6K0), when she won the International German Welterweight Title against Tatjana Dieckmann, now 1-4-0.  According to a local source, Dieckmann was simply too slow for Morelli, and was heavily marked in the face after the first round. Morelli ended the fight 1:20 into the 3rd round with a cracking straight left, which sent her opponent to the floor. Dieckman failed to get off the floor within the 10 count, so Morelli can add a KO victory to her record.

Dieckman's last fight was against Norwegian prospect Cecilia Brækhus, and resulted in a 6 round unanimous decision for Brækhus.

Two other women's bouts ended in points decisions for Pia Mazelanik (5-2-1) over Fleis Djendji (0-3-0) of Serbia and Maya Frenzel (8-6-2) over pro debuter Janina Bentz.
