Change of
Opponent: Hernandez to fight Nunez

|
(AUG 24) WBAN
has received notice earlier today, that there is a change of
opponents for Melissa “Huracan” Hernandez. Hernandez was originally
supposed to fight Jeri Sitzes in a six-rounder on September 5, 2008,
at the Primm Resort, in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was an undercard bout
of Showbox.
The fight has now changed to Hernandez vs. Ela Nunez. Nunez is
WBAN’s August Fighter of the month. The fight has also changed to a
10-round WIBA (130 lb) world title bout. The two will come in at a
catch weight of 127 lbs. This fight should be a barn-burner!
