(AUG 20) Today Carlette ""The Truth"
Ewell celebrates her 37th birthday---and she is still going strong
in the sport. WBAN received a recent update on Ewell, and
found out that she is training very hard for a November 1st world
title bout against Gwendolyn O'Neill.
Ewell told WBAN, "My birthday will not be too much fun time, being
that I am training for a rematch with O'Neil. The fight was
rescheduled from September 27, to November 1st."
"I'm training really hard to win both the WIBA and WIBC World Belts
in the Light Heavy Division, " added Ewell.
When Ewell is not boxing, she is involved with her 14-year-old son
EJ, who plays Pop-Warner Football for the Oak Ridge Military Colts
in association with former NFL Star Ricky Prohel.
Ewell stated, "On August 30th, the team will have their
opening season game and I have been asked from head coach Mark
McDaniels to give the pre-game pep talk. You know I will get the
boys poppin!"
