(AUG 6) WBAN has received an open response in regards to Kaliesha West [Team West] making a challenge to Terri Lynn Cruz. Steve Mestas of Team Cruz said the following:

 “Terri personally asked for Kaliesha West for the 9/11 bout. It came to our attention that she was to be fighting on the Golden Boy show on 9-26-08 per Golden Boy. I don’t have any idea what they're talking about the offer in July. Terri is an accomplished boxer who has traveled the country and overseas fighting much tougher competition than West, whom fights lesser competition all the time (3 of her ten wins are against Elizabeth Cervantes who is 1-8.

Marianne Chiburka is tougher competition anyhow. Mrs. Chubirka’s losses are all overseas in title fights and has an extensive amateur career, and trained by Buddy McGirt, where West has never left California, except on one occasion when she fought a pro debuter in Mexico! So to you Mrs. Team West do something to earn something. Steve Mestas”
