Moreno to fight at the Pavillion in San Jose

(NOV 1) On November 8, 2007, Watsonville's Carina Moreno, the WBC Strawweight World champion will be fighting Emily Kelley, of Texas, at the Pavillion, in San Jose, California.

Team Moreno said that this fight is at a catch weight of 110 lbs. The main event will feature Ricardo Cortes.

WBAN was told that this fight will be a tune-up for Moreno's upcoming title defense on Dec. 6 at the Tachi Casino."

Also, on Sunday, November 4th, at 9:00 a.m. Moreno and
her coach, Rick Noble will be a guest on KNRY 1240 AM for the Ringside Boxing Show. Moreno will talk about Women's Boxing, her career and her upcoming fight in San Jose.

Boxing fans can also see Moreno at a public work-out on Thursday and Friday,  Nov. 1 & 2 from 4:00 - 6:30 pm at 1715 C Freedom Blvd., Watsonville.
