(OCT 15) Both women boxers had sparkling amateur careers and actually fought each other 3 years ago. San Francisco's Cynthia Talmadge (0-1) and San Diego's Leonie Hall (0-2-1) collide on Friday, October 26th, in Downtown Monterey. Both girls are looking for their first win as professionals. The meeting with headgear found Hall winning a close decision. Leonie will be the aggressor at 5'1" moving forward against the taller Talmadge who has superior boxing skills. Hall is of Filipino ancestry and is deaf. Cynthia is the daughter of San Francisco World Gym owner Joe Talmadge.

This 4 round battle at 120 pounds is one of 6 bouts on THE RIOT boxing card. The event, is in it's 15th year of twice per calendar presentations.
