(JUN 13) Today the press conference was held for the upcoming boxing card at the Orleans Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will feature Melissa Del Valle vs. Belinda Laracuente. Del Valle was originally supposed to fight Layla McCarter, but due to McCarter just fighting in Colorado last Saturday, the Nevada Commission would not approver her fight for this Friday.

Del Valle was visibly upset because she said she has known Belinda since she (Belinda) was 18 years old, and that she was not thrilled about fighting her, they both said that they would never fight each other.

Del Valle also said that she respects Belinda but she is going to take her to school Friday night.

Belinda said (with a smile) she better go to her room and study being Del Valle was going to take her to school. Belinda took the fight on short notice.
