"Security wouldn't let her into the building." Suárez, who weighed in later at a different location, tipped the scales at 120 pounds to her opponent (Paulina Cardona)'s 118. It's not known why Suárez was refused entry to the casino (age perhaps); only that she bears no ill-will towards the security men: "They were just doing their job," she said.
