(MAY 30) WBAN has been in contact with
Cindy “Checkmate” Serrano who is set to fight tough veteran boxer
Missy Fiorentino on July 7, 2007, in Albany, New York. The two will
be fighting for the super featherweight NABF belt.
Serrano told
WBAN, “We know how Missy fights so we are well prepared for her
style.” Serrano said that she is that training is awesome, and that
she is getting in the best shape of her life.
Serrano also told WBAN about her 18-year old sister, Amanda Serrano.
She told WBAN, “She [Amanda] just fought and beat in only her third
fight Golden gloves Champion Quadriyyah Marshall."
Amanda is 5’4”, and fights at 125 lbs., as am amateur. She has been
boxing for seven months. Looks like a chip off the ole’ block!
