(MAY 22) Today the weigh-in was
held for tomorrow nights fight on ESPN2 “Wednesday Night Fights”.
The weigh-in took place at the Jockey Club, Albuquerque Downs,
Albuquerque, New Mexico, and promoted by Fresquez Productions and
Prize Fight Boxing.
In the mainliner featuring Holly Holm vs. Chevelle Hallback, Holm
weighed in at 139, and Hallback 137 ½. Both boxers made weight, and
they will be fighting a ten-round bout for the vacant IFBA Jr.
Welterweight title.
On the undercard, Clare de la
Torre will be making her pro debut, and will be fighting Ashella
Moody, of Raleigh, North Carolina. De La Torre weighed in at 126 ½
and Moody, 128 lbs.
In the co-main event, Clarence
“Bones” Adams will face David Martinez. Adams weighed in at 124 ½;
and Martinez 125 ½.
