In Montevideo, Uruguay, and promoted by Amaya & Vanrell Producciones, junior welterweight Light Welterweight Chris Namus, 140, won a four-round unanimous decision over Maria Eugenia Lopez, 139. Final judges scores were 40-36, 40-38, and 40-36.  Both boxers were making their pro debuts.

In Udine, Italy, Italy's Stefania Bianchini won a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria Rosa Tabusso for the WBC flyweight title.
