(MAY 19) WBAN has gotten the straight scoop about the WIBF "title" bout that Fatuma Zarika, of Kenya, has fought for.   To set the record straight, the fight that occurred on May 7, 2007, at the Hood Restaurant, in Nairobi, Kenya, in where bantamweight Fatuma Zarika, Kenya, TKO’d winless (0-11-1) boxer Iliana Boneva, Bulgaria, in the seventh round, and that was reported as a WIBF world title bout---was in fact, not sanctioned. 

Barbara Buttrick of the WIBF told WBAN that the reason for the fight not being sanctioned was due to them changing opponents.
