(MAY 9) WBAN is happy to report that Rita "La Guera" Figueroa's rotator cuff surgery, that was performed last week was a success, and she is hoping to be back in the ring to start some light training within four weeks.  She would like to get back fighting by the end of July or early August.

She was extremely disappointed when she had to pull out of her last fight, where she would have fought Mia St. John.

Figueroa told WBAN, "I look forward to getting better and stronger. Congrats to all the women out there fighting hard and doing well."
