(APR 16)  Japan’s Emiko Raika and Canada’s Jelena Mrdjenovich met April 13 at the Shaw Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, battling for the WBC Super Featherweight crown and Prize Fight Network will webcast the event exclusively on a delayed basis beginning Wednesday April 18.

Mrdjenovich, ( 19-2-11 KO’s) is ranked #5 in the world and is the current WBC champion, with Raika, (16-1-2, 6 KO’s) ranked #2 by the WBC, the mandatory challenger. Mrdjenovich faces Raika after winning an 8 round decision over Belinda Laracuente in February. Raika’s last outing was a 10 round victory against Terri Blair in December 2006.
