World Female Boxing Champion Terri “Lil Loca” Cruz was honored for the second consecutive year by the Colorado Sportswomen for her outstanding achievement for 2006, with her title defense in Korea this past year and finishing 3-0.

 It was a honor for Mr. C.C. Edwards of Moonlight Productions and myself to nominate Terri again for such a long over due honor not only for Ms. Cruz but for the benefit for future women boxers in this state of Colorado.

Again I want to thank Sportswomen of Colorado for recognizing women’s boxing in there program; we do indeed have some outstanding female boxers on the amateur and professional level as well. We do hope that Terri will continue to set standard for future nominees with the Colorado Sportswomen board for future consideration for our boxing athletes. Keep up the good work boxers one day soon you will be recognized for your outstanding accomplishments.
