The stage is set for the return tonight in the Orfeo SuperDomo de
Córdoba (Argentina) between former WBC super bantamweight champion
Jackie Nava of Mexico and the woman who knocked her out and robbed
her of the title last May, Alejandra Oliveras. Both women tipped the
scales at 55.1 kg, with Nava, who has vowed to return to Mexico with
the title or die in the attempt ("like a good Mexican"), reportedly
in the best shape of her life.
On the same bill, Oliveras's stablemate Carolina Marcela Gutiérrez
Gaite will be fighting Bettina Garino.
